Use company search with jurisdictionCode: "se". Pass a name as companyName. companyNumber is not supported here; use the fields below.

Company identifiers
companyNumber is not supported for Sweden. These schemes appear in a company’s identifiers.

Identifier notes
- The Swedish personal identity number (personnummer) starts with the date of birth and appears in two lengths: 12 digits with the full four-digit year, or 10 digits, where a '+' separator in place of the usual '-' means the person is over 100 and the birth century must be adjusted.

| Registers overlap unevenly | Most 90-konto charities are not in Bolagsverket, so results may not be companies, and officer and financial data varies by register. |
| Foundations file no accounts | A foundation's report carries no financial statements; the foundation register does not publish them. A charity holding only the 90-konto seal (not separately registered at Bolagsverket) has just four headline figures, given as notes on the report: total income, equity, percentage spent on administration, and percentage spent on the charitable purpose. |
| Foundation roles differ | A foundation's officer roster can include authorised signatories and administrators, roles an ordinary company does not have, alongside board members. Filter by role. |
| No registered owner, no certificate | A beneficial-ownership certificate exists only for a company with a registered beneficial owner. Listed companies are exempt and struck-off ones have none; both return unavailable, not an error. A certificate reporting no beneficial owner is a complete result. |
| Date of birth, no ID | Some beneficial owners on the certificate carry only a date of birth, not a full personal identity number. |
| The 90-konto seal is private | The 90-konto seal is issued, audited, and revoked by Svensk Insamlingskontroll, an independent non-profit, not a government agency. A revocation is a signal, not a data gap. |
