How to use Kausate in Georgia — what you can call, which identifiers it uses, and which documents you can order
New to the API? Start with the jurisdictions overview, which explains how ordering, identifiers and documents work everywhere.
Company data here comes directly from სამეწარმეო რეესტრი (NAPR).
What you can call here

How to search
Start with company search and jurisdictionCode: "ge". Pass the name as companyName, a registration number as companyNumber, or both to narrow the result. Here companyNumber is read as idCode.
Fields
To say exactly what you mean, send an advancedQuery instead. Georgia understands these fields:
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
name | Company name to search for (Georgian or Latin script). |
idCode | Georgian identification code (საიდენტიფიკაციო კოდი), 9 digits. |
Examples
{ "jurisdictionCode": "ge", "advancedQuery": { "idCode": "204378869" }}Company identifiers
Search by passing the registration number as companyNumber — it is matched against the schemes this register can search on, so you do not name the scheme yourself. Not every scheme below is searchable; the rest label the values returned in a company’s identifiers.
| Identifier | Appears as | Format |
|---|---|---|
| Georgian Identification Code Georgian company identification code (საიდენტიფიკაციო კოდი) - 9-digit numeric | ge_identification_code | ^\d{9}$ |
| Public Registry Number | ge_public_registry_number | No fixed format |
| Georgian NAPR Person Document Number Identity document number printed against a person in a Georgian NAPR registry extract, verbatim. The register does not label its kind: it can be a Georgian personal number, a foreign national ID or a passport number | ge_napr_person_document_number | No fixed format |
Identifier notes
- Georgia's 9-digit identification code is not limited to incorporated companies. Legal form code "1" designates an Individual Entrepreneur — a single natural person registered as a business under that same identifier. The register's status vocabulary reflects this: alongside a general "Registration Cancelled" status, there is a distinct "Registration Cancelled Due to Death" status for when the registered individual has died.
Documents you can order
| Document | Order by | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Georgian Document Download Document download from Georgian NAPR Registry | A document ID from the list operation | Live |
| Georgian Document List List of available documents from Georgian NAPR Registry | GEDL | Live |
Those shown with a code have no cross-jurisdiction shortcut: order them by the code itself — for example GEDL. The rest are filings whose availability differs per company: call list documents first and order the ID it returns.

Gotchas
| Trap | What happens |
|---|---|
| Officer-shareholders only in the graph | An officer who also holds shares appears only in the shareholder graph, not in the company report's legal representatives list — query both for a complete picture. |
| Corporate shareholders not expanded | When a shareholder of a Georgian company is itself another company, the response gives you that company's name and its own 9-digit identification code, but does not expand who owns or manages that shareholder company — look it up separately if you need its ownership structure. |
| No ISO code fields | No ISO 20275 (legal form) or ISO 5009 (role) entries exist, so those standardized code fields are always null — use the plain-language legal form and role fields instead. |
