How to search
Start with company search and jurisdictionCode: "xk". Pass the name as companyName. Kosovo takes no other search criteria.
Examples
{ "jurisdictionCode": "xk", "advancedQuery": { "name": "Telekomi I Kosoves" }}Company identifiers
Kosovo has no number-based search: find a company by name, then use the kausateId search returns. These schemes label the values that come back in a company’s identifiers.
| Identifier | Appears as | Format |
|---|---|---|
| Kosovo NUI Kosovo Unique Identification Number (NUI) - 9 digits | xk_nui | ^\d{9}$ |
| Kosovo Business Number Business number (numri biznesit) published by the Kosovo Business Registration Agency | xk_business_number | No fixed format |
| Kosovo Fiscal Number Fiscal number (numri fiskal) published by the Kosovo Business Registration Agency | xk_fiscal_number | No fixed format |
Identifier notes
- A Kosovo company report can carry up to three separate numbers: the NUI (the primary identifier), a fiscal number, and a business number. The business number is only included as a separate value when it differs from the NUI — most companies use the same number for both, so a report without a distinct business-number entry does not mean the company lacks one.

Gotchas
| Trap | What happens |
|---|---|
| Type is pattern-matched | Shareholder person-vs-company classification is pattern-matched from the name (legal-form suffixes, all-uppercase multi-word names), not a register-supplied type field — treat it as a best-effort hint, especially for unusually formatted names. |
