Start with company search and jurisdictionCode: "li". Pass the name as companyName. Liechtenstein takes no other search criteria.

Examples

{  "jurisdictionCode": "li",  "advancedQuery": {    "name": "Hilti"  }}

The same query also matches HILTI FOUNDATION.

Company identifiers

Liechtenstein has no number-based search: find a company by name, then use the kausateId search returns. These schemes label the values that come back in a company’s identifiers.

IdentifierAppears asFormat
Liechtenstein FL-Nummer
Liechtenstein Commercial Register entity number (e.g., FL-0001.011.557-0)
li_fl_number^FL-\d{4}\.\d{3}\.\d{3}-\d$

Identifier notes

  • A Liechtenstein FL-Nummer can be written several ways — with its usual dots and dash (FL-0001.011.557-0), as one unbroken run of eleven digits, or with any mix of separators — and all are treated as the same identifier. What has to match is the eleven digits themselves, not the punctuation around them.

Gotchas

TrapWhat happens
Name search onlyCompany search only supports name — there is no FL-Nummer field. If you already have the FL-Nummer, request the company report directly instead of searching.
Branch legal form is textA foreign branch's legal-form field carries no structured code — just text on whether the parent is inside or outside the EEA. Check the parent's own record for the branch's actual entity type.
No capital or purposeCompany reports never include share capital or business purpose — both fields are always empty, not a data gap for a particular company.
Status lives in the nameNo separate status field exists — liquidation, bankruptcy, or a related court proceeding appears as a suffix on the registered name (e.g. "... in Liquidation") that's part of the legal name, so don't strip it.
Live alias versus former nameAn active company can show two names at once — a legal name plus a live alias, often a foreign-language rendering, not a former name. Check each entry's type: a live alias and a former name can both appear.
Care-of is a mailing addressAn address with a care-of ("c/o") party is a mailing address, not the registered one. A company can have both on file — check for "c/o" before treating an address as the registered office.
