Use company search with jurisdictionCode: "us-ma". Pass a name as companyName or a registration number as companyNumber. companyNumber is read as entityId.

- Name searches match the beginning of the entity name. Use the entity identifier for an exact company lookup, including dissolved entities.
Company identifiers
A registration number sent as companyNumber is matched against the searchable schemes below; you do not name the scheme. All of them can appear in a company’s identifiers.

Identifier notes
- Preserve leading zeros in the Massachusetts entity identifier. Some trusts have a T prefix followed by eight digits. A filing number identifies a document, not the company.
