Start with company search and jurisdictionCode: "tw". Pass the name as companyName. Taiwan accepts no generic number alias — the fields below are its own.

To say exactly what you mean, send an advancedQuery instead. Taiwan understands these fields:

Company identifiers

Taiwan has no number-based search: find a company by name, then use the kausateId search returns. These schemes label the values that come back in a company’s identifiers.

Gotchas

TrapWhat happens
Chinese name search onlyCompany search matches only the Chinese name — an English name, romanization, or translation won't find a match. Search with the Chinese name or a substring of it.
Supervisors sit with directorsThe people list mixes directors and statutory supervisors — a separate oversight role, not a kind of director. Filter on role for board directors only.
English name may not existLegal name can come back in Chinese only. An English name appears only if the company registered one — many smaller companies never did, so don't assume one exists.
Legal form from the name suffixLegal form is derived from the registered name, not a separate field — company names typically end in a suffix like 股份有限公司. No recognized suffix means no legal form at all.
Capital is authorized, not paid-inThe capital figure is registered (authorized) capital, not paid-in capital — the two can differ, and paid-in capital isn't available separately.
Branches excludedThe company report excludes branch offices — only the head-office record comes back, even for companies that operate branches.
