What you can call here

What each operation does is the same everywhere and is explained on the jurisdictions overview.

Start with company search and jurisdictionCode: "pk". Pass the name as companyName. Pakistan takes no other search criteria.

Examples

{  "jurisdictionCode": "pk",  "advancedQuery": {    "name": "ENGRO"  }}

The same query also matches PAKISTAN.

Company identifiers

Pakistan has no number-based search: find a company by name, then use the kausateId search returns. These schemes label the values that come back in a company’s identifiers.

Gotchas

TrapWhat happens
Name search onlySearch matches on company name only — there's no way to search by CUIN or any other identifier.
Reserved names are invisibleA name SECP has only reserved — approved but not yet used to incorporate — won't appear in search. No-match means no incorporated company holds that name, not that it's available.
Capped at 100 resultsSearch results are capped at 100 matches, with no total count and no indication that more exist. If a search returns exactly 100 results, treat it as a sign there may be more and narrow your query (a longer or more specific name) rather than assuming you have the full set.
No legal form returnedLegal form (e.g. Private Limited, Single Member Company) isn't returned. Don't infer it from the name — suffixes like "Limited" or "Ltd" span multiple legal forms.

Glossary

TermMeaning
IncorporatedThe only company status this jurisdiction's search returns. It confirms the company is on SECP's register — it does not mean the company is current on its annual filings or otherwise in good standing, since this registry's public search does not report that distinction.
