Company identifiers

Nunavut (CA) has no number-based search: find a company by name, then use the kausateId search returns. These schemes label the values that come back in a company’s identifiers.

IdentifierAppears asFormat
NU Corporation Number
Nunavut Corporate Registry number as published in the Nunavut Gazette Part I (e.g. C 5994). The prefix identifies the register series and is part of the identifier: C for territorial corporations under the Business Corporations Act, ET for extra-territorial registrations, SOC for societies under the Societies Act, and AS for co-operative associations. The four series number independently, so the digits alone are not unique.
